Pet Portraits
Pet portraits are probably one of the most, if not the most, purchased watercolor commissions I do. I’m not trying to brag, but recipients often cry when they receive them; At least that’s what I'm told by my clients. Seriously though, who wouldn’t love to see their furry friend painted in watercolor?!? It’s the perfect gift for any animal lover.
Each watercolor pet portrait is done on quality cold press watercolor paper. Cold press is the kind with a bit of texture; I really think it adds to the artistic feel. To allow for enough negative space to be compositionally appealing, the painting is done on paper a size up. For example, a 5 x 7 inch would be painted on 8 x 10 inch paper. Turn around time is 1-3 weeks from when the reference photo is selected and agreed upon. Rush orders may be accommodated for an additional charge. *Current prices are as follows

I will let you know which one will allow me to paint the best portrait. Great lighting, nice contrast, and your pets eyes visible and clear are what I’m looking for. Let me know the size painting and if you’re okay with my typical “headshot” style of painting your pet.

House or Venue Portrait
These commissions are a close second when it comes to popularity. Watercolor house portraits make phenomenal house warming gifts. Clients of realtors love receiving their new or recently sold home painted in watercolor as a closing gift. There are so many occasions that a watercolor house portrait would be perfect for. I'm not limited to houses when it comes to buildings, though. I’ll happily paint your office space or wedding venue. Additionally, I have the ability scan it in so it could be included on wedding invitations, save the dates, wedding signage, or stationery of any kind.
